WHY CHURCHES
Health is part of caring for the whole person and churches have always known that.
In Black, Latino, immigrant, and historically underserved communities, the church has long served as the place where information about wellbeing actually travels through trusted relationships, not pamphlets. HealthViber partners with churches because that’s where the work needs to happen.
Type 2 diabetes is a community-scale issue.
It runs in families. It clusters in neighborhoods. Treating it one-on-one in a clinic misses the truth it's a community condition that benefits from a community response.
Churches reach who clinics don't.
Many members of your congregation may not have insurance, a primary care doctor, or trust in the healthcare system. They have you. We work alongside that trust never instead of it.
The room is already there. The trust is already there.
Sunday worship, Wednesday bible study, women's groups, men's fellowships your congregation already gathers. We meet your members where they're already showing up.
For us, the wellness ministry isn't separate from the rest of the work. Diabetes is taking too many of our people too early. Partnering with HealthViber meant we could finally offer something real without becoming a clinic.

DuPage A.M.E. Church Lisle, IllinoisHOW THE PARTNERSHIP WORKS
Four steps. We do the heavy lifting.
From a 30-minute call with our partnerships team to a running cohort takes about 4-6 weeks. The church doesn’t pay anything, doesn’t take legal liability for the program, and doesn’t need to provide medical expertise.
30-minute call
We meet with you (and any health ministry leaders) to learn about your congregation, your goals, and what format makes sense.
Facilitator match
We assign a Facilitator who fits your community language, cultural fit, geographic proximity for in-person.
Announcement & enrollment
We co-design materials for your bulletin, social channels, and Sunday announcements. Members enroll directly with us.
Sessions begin
Your cohort starts. We handle everything curriculum, scheduling, billing, member support. You don't lift a finger after this.
TWO WAYS TO HOST
In-person at your church, or virtually with a Facilitator who fits.
Each church chooses the format that works for their members. Both options are available, both deliver the full 50-session program, and members can switch between them.

A nurse who stays

Each session ends with one small action to practice that week. Built on Stanford's Tiny Habits® framework.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
An important clarification for pastors and church leaders.

PARTNER CHURCHES
Churches we work with today.
A handful of the congregations who’ve opened their doors to HealthViber programming. Different denominations, different cities, same belief that diabetes shouldn’t be carried alone.
Our wellness ministry needed something that actually worked. Living in Control™ gave us a Facilitator who knew our people.
Salem Baptist Church of Chicago
Rosa leads our Spanish-language cohort. Our parishioners feel seen. The food, the family, the language all of it gets honored.
Progressive Baptist Church
This was the first program we hosted that asked nothing of us but trust. Our members got real support, our ministry didn't take on liability.

CHURCH PARTNERSHIP FAQS
Questions pastors and health ministry leaders actually ask.
No. We’re a secular health education program. We don’t proselytize, don’t push doctrinal positions, don’t pressure members to buy products beyond the membership itself, and don’t use your member list for anything beyond the program. Your members hear about HealthViber once through your church and from then on it’s their relationship with us. We don’t market other products to them through your channel.
READY TO TALK?
Let's see if HealthViber and your church are a fit. One 30-minute call.
Tell us about your congregation. We’ll tell you what we’d do. No pitch deck, no pressure just an honest conversation about whether this partnership makes sense for both sides.
