Consumer Health Data Policy
What we know about your health, why, and who else sees it.
Last updated October 11, 2026
Some of what you share with us says something about your health. We keep it only to give you what you asked for, we never sell it, and we never use it for advertising.
What we collect
- What you ask us for help with, such as testing supplies, understanding your numbers, finding a clinic or paying for care, and the clinic you asked about.
- Your answers about food: whether you are managing diabetes or blood pressure, and dietary restrictions. Only if you tick the box that lets us keep them.
- What you want to cover in a Meter + Mentor session, in your own words. Only if you tick the box that lets us keep it.
- Your answer when we ask whether you got what you needed, and what stood in the way if you did not.
- What you buy, because supplies such as test strips say something about your health.
- The type of care you search for in our clinic directory, which is part of the page address and is not linked to your name.
Where it comes from
From you: the forms on this site, your orders, and your answers to our follow up question. We do not buy health information or collect it from anyone else.
Why we collect it
To give you what you asked for: to send your order, to help with your request and check it worked, to find food you can use, and to prepare for your session. We do not use it for anything else.
Your consent
Apart from what we need to give you what you asked for, we keep health information only when you tick the box beside the question. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing [email protected] or calling 1-800-209-6057, and we will delete what you shared under it.
Who else sees it
We share it only as far as the service you asked for needs:
- Stripe, our fulfilment partner, ShipStation and delivery carriers see what you bought, to take payment and send it.
- Brevo and Twilio carry our emails and texts, including the follow up question, which names what you asked for help with.
- Slack tells our team when a message arrives, with its topic and its first lines.
- Code Agents builds and hosts this website and the back office where it is kept.
- Cloudflare carries every visit to the site.
- Google sees which pages you visit, including pages about health, only if you accepted analytics cookies.
A food pantry we refer you to gets your first name and ZIP code if they need them, and never your health answers. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it with insurers, employers, advertisers or data brokers.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold health information about you, give you a copy of it, and tell you which of the companies above it was shared with;
- delete it;
- withdraw your consent.
Ask by emailing [email protected] or calling 1-800-209-6057. We will answer within 45 days and may need to check it is really you first. If we turn down a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer and we will look at it again. If you are not satisfied, you can contact your state's attorney general.
Everything else about your personal information is in our Privacy Policy.
Talk to a person
If any of this is unclear, or something has gone wrong with an order, do not work it out from this page — ask us. We would rather answer than have you guess.
