Cookie Policy

Nothing but the cookies the shop needs runs until you say yes. Analytics and advertising are off by default, for every visitor in every state.

Cookies the shop needs

These are always on, because the site does not work without them.

• Sign in. A session cookie that keeps you signed in to your account while you browse. It ends when you close your browser.
• Your basket. Kept in your browser's own storage so it is still there when you come back. It never leaves your device until you check out.
• Your cookie choice. A cookie called cookieyes-consent, set by CookieYes, which runs our cookie banner, remembers what you chose for a year, so we do not ask on every page.
• Checkout. Our payment provider sets its own cookies on the checkout page to detect fraud.

Analytics and advertising

We count visits to see which pages people use. That counter and our analytics tools only start once you accept analytics, and our advertising tools only once you accept advertising. On the cookie banner, Accept All turns on analytics, advertising and maps; Customise lets you pick. Reject All, or never answer, and none of them load.

The same goes for referrals: if you arrive through a partner's referral link, we remember which partner sent you only once you have accepted advertising.

Maps

Clinic pages can show a map drawn by OpenStreetMap, whose servers would see your IP address and which part of the map you are looking at. The map only loads after you accept functional cookies on the cookie banner, or press Show map on the page you are on.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing beyond the cookies the shop needs loads unless you accept it on the banner yourself.

Changing your choice

Open your cookie choices at any time, or use the Cookie preferences link at the foot of every page. Clearing your browser's cookies for this site also resets it.

Your rights under state privacy laws

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you have accepted advertising cookies. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia have the right to opt out of that, to limit the use of sensitive information, and to ask what we hold, have it corrected or have it deleted. We give the same rights to everyone, wherever you live. To use any of them, contact us using the details below, and read our privacy policy for the rest.
