Does it really cost anything?
No. Our help is free, the discount card is free, and we never charge you to connect you with resources or to help with paperwork.
Do I need insurance?
No. You can use Care Connect whether you have insurance or not. The discount card and assistance programs are especially helpful for people without good coverage.
Do I have to prove I'm poor?
We don’t make you prove anything to us, and we never judge. Assistance programs do ask for proof of income because that’s their rule and when they do, we help you gather what’s needed, gently and privately.
Will you give me money for my medicine?
No and we’re honest about that. We don’t hand out cash. Instead, we do the work that gets the medicine itself into your hands, through assistance programs and discounts.
How long does it take?
The discount card works the same day. Assistance programs take longer sometimes days, sometimes a few weeks because the company reviews each application. That’s why we give you the card to use while you wait.
Is my information private?
Yes. We keep your information private and handle it carefully. We only ask for what a program actually requires nothing extra.
Do I have to come into an office?
Usually not. Most of our help happens by phone, video, or online, right from home. Sometimes we’ll meet in person when it helps like getting a glucometer to you.
Can I get help for someone else?
Yes, and it’s welcome. As long as the person says it’s okay, you can help them with everything the call, the papers, and the follow-up.
