Where it gets hard
What would make diabetes care easier for you today?
Sometimes the difficulty is the meter itself. Sometimes it’s finding the right strips,
understanding what comes in a supply plan, or remembering to reorder before the last bottle runs out.
And sometimes you’re doing all of this for someone you love.
You may recognize one of these situations:
- “I have a meter, but I’m not confident I’m using it correctly.”
- “I bought strips and found out they don’t fit.”
- “I want someone to walk me through testing.”
- “I need to understand what supplies will cost each month.”
- “My parent needs help, and I don’t know where to start.”
- “I have questions I didn’t get to ask at my appointment.”
Those are good reasons to ask for help.
HealthViber brings practical meter education, supply options, and personal guidance together so you
can leave with a clearer plan.
One-on-one
Book help for the problem you actually have
You don’t need to wait for a community health fair or attend a full class to ask about your meter.
A HealthViber appointment gives you time to focus on your own questions.
We start by asking what you need. Then we help you choose the appropriate option, whether that’s a
quick answer, a paid teaching session, a starter kit, or recurring supplies.
Already have a meter? Tell us the brand and model before booking so we can confirm whether we can

If you’re helping a parent or another adult, tell us that too.
- 02

For family caregivers
Helping Mom, Dad, or someone you love?
You may be the person who notices the empty strip bottle, orders the replacement supplies, or gets
the call when the meter won’t work.
You want to help. You also want to respect their independence.
You can purchase supplies or a Mentor Session for a family member. When their
personal health information is involved, we need their permission before discussing it with you.
Ask About Help for a Family Member
HealthViber can help you work through the practical starting questions:
- What meter are they using?
- Which supplies are compatible?
- Do they need help learning the testing routine?
- Would a one-on-one session be useful?
- Would recurring delivery make ordering easier?
Who you’ll work with
A real person to work through the details with you
HealthViber was founded by John Mwesigwa, DCES — Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Our purpose is
to close the gaps between the person, the supplies, the information, and the care they need.
That purpose shows up in practical ways: helping someone learn the meter they’ve been avoiding,
understand a supply purchase, or prepare a question they need to take back to their healthcare team.
Your time with us is built around the question you bring.
No pressure
You stay in control of the decision
- You can ask a question before buying.
- You can book a Mentor Session without joining a subscription.
- You can buy a Starter Kit without adding a session.
- You can choose recurring supplies if they fit your meter and your needs.
- And you can buy compatible supplies from another seller.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is the introductory conversation really free?
Yes. You can start with a brief conversation about your question and the HealthViber options that may fit. Dedicated teaching sessions and products have separate prices, explained before purchase.
Do I need to buy HealthViber supplies to book a Mentor Session?
No. If you already have a meter, tell us its brand and model before booking so we can confirm whether we can support your device.
What is the difference between the $65.00 and $99.00 options?
The $65.00 Mentor Session provides a 30-minute one-on-one session. The $99.00 Starter Kit + Mentor includes the Starter Kit and a 30-minute one-on-one session.
Is the Mentor Session the same as a medical appointment?
No. The session provides practical education about meters, testing supplies, and using the equipment. HealthViber does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or change medicines. Questions about treatment decisions should go to your treating clinician.
Will you tell me how often to test?
We can help you understand and organize the testing instructions your clinician has given you. If you don’t have a testing schedule, we can help you identify what to ask your clinician.
Can I book for a parent?
Yes. Let us know you’re arranging help for another adult. They should participate in their teaching session, and their permission is required before personal health information is shared with you.
Do you take insurance for these offers?
The offers on this page are presented at the listed self-pay prices. No insurance is required to purchase them.
Do I have to join the Foundation Plan?
No. The Foundation Plan is optional. Buying a kit or booking a session does not automatically enroll you.
Where will my appointment take place?
Ask about the current appointment format, location, and availability before booking. Community appointments are offered only at announced locations and times.
What if I’m not sure what I need?
Start with the free introductory conversation. Tell us what’s happening, and we’ll help you identify an appropriate starting point.
Bring the question you’ve been putting off
- The meter in the drawer.
- The strips you’re unsure about.
- The supply order you keep postponing.
- The parent you want to help.
